I’m far from being sufficiently recognised to be quoted alongside two big names, but I guess the narcissist in me can be pardoned for taking such liberties on my own blog .

I did a ‘brain-dump’ in creating the image above – listing anything about me that comes to mind right away. I’ve never really liked to write too much about myself, preferring for people to find out for themselves.

I spent 6 years at Henry Park Primary School, another 4 years of secondary education at Raffles Institution, followed by 2 more years of junior college at Raffles Junior College. Having secured the Singapore Inc. scholarship with the Infocomm Development Authority of Singapore (IDA) as my sponsor, I headed to the United States of America for 3 years of college at Carnegie Mellon in Electrical & Computer Engineering and Engineering & Public Policy, followed by another year of studies for my Masters in Management Science & Engineering at Stanford.

After all that studying (frankly, too much of it), I began work at IDA on 1 Aug 2006. I am currently an Assistant Manager at International Operations, with a focus on helping Singapore’s infocomm local enterprises to internationalise. My job lets me fly occasionally, which is a nice break from the monotony of the daily 9-5 routine.
